  • Stick, Stand & Stay

Happy Testimony Tuesday! Blessings WOG, I pray all is well. Let me start off with, I LOVE EVERYBODY This morning in my meditation time the great God that we serve laid this on my heart…. With this being the year of reinforcements we must STICK, STAND & STAY!!! Life throws a plethora of ups and downs our way. Some we see coming and then some catches us off-guard. Somethings we can handle and some things, handle us. There’s even some things we can shake off of our backs and move on, but then there’s things that ride on our backs unremittingly. None of these things should waver our FAITH in the Lord. I take my meditation time as I walk Overseer in the morning, so you can imagine my face when all I could hear was the Lord saying, no matter what comes your way STICK, STAND & STAY in your FAITH with me!!! Mark 4:35-41 (Easy To Read Version) 35 That day, at evening, Jesus said to his followers, “Come with me across the lake.” 36 So they left the crowd behind and went with Jesus in the boat he was already in. There were also other boats that went with them. 37 A very bad wind came up on the lake. The waves were coming over the sides and into the boat, and it was almost full of water. 38 Jesus was inside the boat, sleeping with his head on a pillow. The followers went and woke him. They said, “Teacher, don’t you care about us? We are going to drown!” 39 Jesus stood up and gave a command to the wind and the water. He said, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind stopped, and the lake became calm. 40 He said to his followers, “Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith?” 41 They were very afraid and asked each other, “What kind of man is this? Even the wind and the water obey him!” Could you imagine what would’ve happened to the followers if they had left the ship???? Drown, Lost at sea or even Death!! Most of all, not have the opportunity to see God work yet another miracle of calming the sea. Leaving, Straying or prematurely aborting is not the answer. The answer is to STICK, STAND & STAY with the Lord! He will bring peace to every mind and comfort to every heart. Your two most vital organs. One more thing, imagine this being the “YEAR OF REINFORCEMENTS and you didn’t STICK, STAND & STAY long enough to get your prayer in……………… Let’s pray Father God, You have shown yourself faithful all throughout Scripture. Thank you for being faithful in our lives too. Forgive us for all those times we have doubted you in the past and at times, taken things into our own hands, and not trusted you with our situation. You love us and want the best for us. Your love for us is immeasurable and unconditional. Everything that happens in our life you allow, even if it’s painful at times. Remind us that “you work all things out for good for those who love you.” Prompt us in our moments of doubt to never ever forget all the things you have done in our life. To never forget all the answered prayers and comfort you have provided us over the years. To never forget that your “plans for us are good as they are plans to prosper us and not to harm us, they are plans that give us hope. Lord, we trust you today because you are faithful, and we know your faithfulness never runs dry. We love you and we remember you, we remember all that you are, and we remember all that you have done, In Jesus name, Amen Love, Lady Rae

  • You are not a product of your past PTL LADIES.

Happy Miracle Monday ! Many blessings to everyone. Let me begin with this, I LOVE YOU AND THERE’S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT!!!! A few days ago I had a conversation with someone who was darkened by their past. This person was looking for a way to rid themselves of the embarrassment of what they were connected to in their young days because people were whispering about them. So in my meditation time, God reminded me, WE ARE NOT PRODUCTS OF OUR PAST, BUT WE ARE WHO HE SAYS WE ARE! You are not a product of your past. You’re not defined by where you’ve been or what you have been through. You’re not defined by what they say you are. You are not defined by your history, not matter how ugly it is, you are defined by who God says you are. And when you know who God says you are, you can lament about the past, but you’re not hopeless. Because who your are, is defined by God. And if you are who God says you are , then his promises is still on you. His promises are yes & Amen. God is not done with you yet, he still has something in store for you, and yes you may be broken from the past , but you are healing in the present, so God can use you in the future for what he called you to be. You can’t be hopeless in God, no matter how bad it looked in the past, when you know who you are, it gives you hope to aspire for where you are about to go. 12Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. 15 All of us, then, who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you. 16 Only let us live up to what we have already attained. (Philippians 3:12-16 Pray with me….. Lord Jesus, I pray that You would enable me to forget the things which are past and help me to press forward, knowing that my hope and my future is in You. Help me not to dwell on past hurts and painful memories, and enable me to forget what is behind and to walk forward into each new day, holding Your hand. Lord, I release all of the painful memories I have to You, and pray that You would help me to renew my mind day by day and to focus my thoughts on the Lord Jesus Christ. Help me also to forgive all those that have caused me pain so that by Your grace, You would help me to fill my heart with new and joyful thoughts. Lord, I believe that You came to heal the broken-hearted and set the captives free. Wash away all these hurtful memories that are causing me so much heartache. God I ask that you would go to work on my behalf, In Jesus' name I pray, Amen

  • A Fixed Mindset vs. A Growth Mindset

Blessings WOG, Happy Sisterhood Sunday I pray that all is well with each of you. “I LOVE EVERYBODY “ In taking some time today to just revisit some of the things I have heard in the last couple of weeks, “A Fixed Mindset & A Growth Mindset” continues to playback in my mind. After the pandemic the schools here where I live, feel that the students have slumped into a fixed mindset. They are trying new ways to help students change to a growth mindset. Well, we as women are suffering from the same issue!! We have become comfortable with doing just enough to get by, but not enough to strive toward the mark. Our fixed mindsets causes us to believe that our intelligence, talent, and other qualities are unchangeable. “A what you see is what you get standpoint. However, we should look to be better everyday. No more excuses to hold on to your old self or, your old way of thinking. A growth mindset means there’s room to improve. LOOK TO BE A GREATER YOU LOOK TO BE A HEALTHIER YOU LOOK TO BE A STRONGER YOU LOOK TO BE A HEALED YOU The multiple traumas that we face causes us to hold on to versions of ourselves that God wants us to change. Those cuts are not meant to be open wounds forever, but are meant to heal in order to remind us that we are no longer in that place of pain anymore. Ephesians 4:17;21-24 (Easy To Read Version) 17 I have something from the Lord to tell you. I warn you: Don’t continue living like those who don’t believe. Their thoughts are worth nothing. 21 I know that you heard about him, and in him you were taught the truth. Yes, the truth is in Jesus. 22 You were taught to leave your old self. This means that you must stop living the evil way you lived before. That old self gets worse and worse, because people are fooled by the evil they want to do. 23 You must be made new in your hearts and in your thinking. 24 Be that new person who was made to be like God, truly good and pleasing to him. Don’t stop yourself from growth. You can do all things through Christ. Even the word “IMPOSSIBLE “ spells “IM POSSIBLE”. Dear Heavenly Father, Your Word says, “be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.” (Romans 12:2). I know that my thoughts influence my life. I also know that I can be transformed and my life can be transformed by the renewing of my mind. I’ve come a long way from who I used to be. Yet, I know there is so much more for me to become. I pray that You help instill in me the right mindset to go where You’d have me go next. I can definitely identify some areas in my life where I don’t have the best mindset. At the same time I know in order for You to answer my specific prayers I have to adopt a selfless and flexible mindset. Furthermore, if I am to accomplish Your will for my life I can’t hold on to this same mindset. I’m praying for Your guidance. I’m praying for your grace. If I am honest God, a part of me doesn’t want to change my attitude and mindset as it relates to some things. Life and circumstances have brought me to a place where compromise and serving others seems unreal. But I know I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I know that I am meant to grow and be molded by You. So even though a part of me is resistant I know my mindset needs to be renewed so my prayers can be answered and my life can be transformed. Guide me, Lord. Plant in me a new way of thinking. Give me new thoughts and new beliefs. I pray for the strength to fully adopt a new way of thinking that aligns with Your Word and the things You have for me to do. Help me release the thoughts and beliefs that do not serve me and will actually hinder me in the places which You are taking me. Help me to trust You above all things. Help me to be confident in knowing that You are ordering my steps and can “right” any “wrongs”. Thank you for hearing my prayer. In Jesus’ name, Amen
