  • Witness Wednesday

While grabbing a snack for my little one , I noticed the manufacturer made a mistake. The little bites bag had been misprinted, look at where the tear here lines are. I thought to myself did anyone catch it ? Why did they still box it ? Better yet , there are a bunch of boxes on the shelves at BJS , no one thought to remove all them off the shelf and recheck it? Then it hit me, even the biggest of names , the biggest of titles make mistakes. Not every mistake will be highlighted for the world to see you messed up , everything won’t be taken from you simultaneously because you messed up, forcing you to start from scratch. Yes a mistake was made yet it doesn’t affect them going back and doing it again but you can learn from the mistake and still produce without stopping the production of what you already have. You can still be pushed , promoted and continue to produce. • The 4 R's

HAPPY THURSDAY TO THE SISTERHOOD! LET’S MEDITATE TOGETHER TODAY…… Perhaps they will listen, and each will turn from their evil ways. Then I will relent and not inflict on them the disaster I was planning because of the evil they have done. (Jeremiah 26:3, NIV) As Christians, we are responsible for many things. It is our job to show others the way to Christ so that they too can walk in His purpose and His will can be carried out. However, before we can show others the way to Christ we must first work on WHERE WE “R”! Barry White said it best when he said, “Practice what you Preach”. Everyone knows the song!!!! I’ve learned that it is so much easier to get people to follow you when your life is a constant reflection of what you preach and teach. We must constantly repent daily. We all fall short of God’s glory. True repentance will show four things. First, it will show Responsibility. We must take ownership of the role we played in every situation that went wrong. You know what you did, you know what you said, and you knew when you did it or said it, it was going to cut someone like a knife. Second, it will show Regret. We must have true remorse for doing wrong and for the pain and problems we've caused. I’m speaking of real remorse and real apologies. Apologies that include the phrase, “if I did anything to hurt you, my bad” are not sufficient. No, we need to offer apologies that say “I know what I did, and I’m truly sorry for it. There’s no place for Pride within His Purpose. Third, we must be committed to Never Repeating the act regardless of the temptations or situations. Once you commit the crime, you now have the potential to do it again. Commit yourself to be better and do better. Purpose in your heart, that you will never duplicate the same mistake. Look at it as a weakness that you are determined to improve. The fourth and final thing, we must Repair the damage we've done. Repair has to be the hardest of them all. With some people, once it’s done, they will never give you another chance. One and done. In the old days, elders would say, “Be careful of what you do and say, because once it is done or said, you can’t take it back!” As humans, we all have traveled down the road of wrong at least once in our lives, but the road you travel will have detours along the way. The detours give you the opportunity to travel down a better road. God does not bring us to roads that He will not help us to travel. We normally are so caught up in what went wrong. Alternatively, choose to spend more energy correcting what’s wrong. Today’s scripture tells us to “turn from our evil ways” to avoid disaster. A prideful heart goes before destruction. Remember, we are children of God. The life you live must reflect his goodness. Most people are visual learners. We can show them better than we can tell them. Show them the advantages of giving your life to the Lord. If you can’t be Responsible, show Remorse, and never Repeat or aim to Repair, you my sister are looking for REVENGE!

  • Goals or Nah.

Happy Wednesday To The Sisterhood Ladies in my morning meditation I thought about how people look at others’ lives and consider them “GOALS”. But how many of you know, people show you what they want you to see? For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful; I know that full well. (Psalms 139:13-14, NIV) Each one of us is unique in our own way. We embody differences that set us apart from one another. There is no need to COMPARE who you are to your fellow sister. COMPARING WILL BRING NEGATIVITY TO YOUR PLACE OF PEACE AND PURPOSE. My mother has always told me never to envy another’s life because you don’t know what it took for them to get where they are. She taught me to love my own story. We must realize that there are some things that we will never get to experience in this life. I am guilty of wondering why God didn’t give me certain talents that some of my peers have. I am even more guilty of trying to mimic some of those gifts that were not given to me. All I did was cause myself to be in a place of stress and disappointment. When you begin comparing what others HAVE to what you HAVE NOT, you lose your PLACE OF PEACE and PURPOSE. We have to remember that when God made us, He made us SPECIAL. He took His time with every detail, not for us to try to be something else or someone else, but for us to be the best at what we were made to be. Instead of trying to change what God has designed us to be, we have to love our own life’s story. Your testimony is constructed to help others along the way so that your living won’t be in vain. Don’t be distracted by the devil’s plan to make you lose focus by dangling your sister’s life in your face. Envy is the trick of the enemy to steal your joy and to set your mind on something other than serving God with a grateful heart. Prayer: Father God, thank you for how you have blessed me thus far. Lord, I thank you for me being me. I appreciate the gifts that you have assigned to my life. Help me Lord to be the best me that you would have me to be. In Jesus’ name, AMEN.

  • Fears & Insecurities

Happy Tuesday to the Sisterhood! Today in Meditation I am focusing on my fears and insecurities. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. (Ephesians 2:10, NIV) Oftentimes, we are reluctant to answer God’s call. We can hear Him speaking to us and giving us directions, but we never act on them. Sometimes, I wonder if it’s really God I hear, or if I heard Him correctly. Other times I just don’t want to mess up or look foolish. I had to identify these things as fears and insecurities. I was fearful of failing and insecure in thinking that I wasn’t good enough for God to speak to me. We spend way too much time feeding ourselves with so many uncertainties. We were handmade by God to carry out His great works. This is not planned as you go. We must be reminded that God’s plan is already taking place. Most of all, we have to know that we are a part of his plan. As women, we must move out of two places. The place of being safe and the place of being in control. Yes, I said it!!!!!!!!!!! There is no safer place than in the will of God, and only He can be in control there. We have to trust God enough to allow Him to move these things out of our lives. We must trust Him to have His way in our lives. It’s time to stop talking about faith and actually have faith in the God we serve. Know that, if God has put you in a situation, he will bring you out of it. We hear the saying “What God has for me is for me”, but do we believe it? The scripture confirms the saying. God has prepared our good works in advance. So, no more worrying about if you’re good enough, rejoice in how good you're going to be! Prayer: Lord, I thank you for thinking enough of me to include me in your will. Help me to know that you already have a plan for my life. Help me to let go of my fears, my insecurities, and anything that gets in the way of me fulfilling my purpose. In Jesus’ name, AMEN.

  • It’s okay to be identified by your situation.

HAPPY MIRACLE MONDAY TO THE SISTERHOOD! SAY IT WITH ME……..”I MADE IT ANOTHER WEEK BY GOD’S SAVING GRACE”! THIS MORNING IN MEDITATION I THOUGHT ABOUT THE AMAZING TIME WE HAD IN CHURCH YESTERDAY AND HOW THE SPEAKERS TALKED ABOUT DIFFERENT WOMEN IN THE BIBLE WHO WERE NAMELESS BUT WERE IDENTIFIED BY THEIR SITUATIONS. OFTEN TIMES WE ARE SO EMBARRASSED BY SOME OF THE THINGS THAT WE HAVE GONE THROUGH THAT WE DON’T WANT TO BE KNOWN FOR THOSE THINGS BUT THOSE THINGS ARE STILL A PART OF WHO WE ARE. THOSE THINGS HAVE TAUGHT US LESSONS, THEY’VE MADE US STRONGER, AND WISER BUT MOST OF ALL THEY SHOW HOW STRONG GOD IS. I’VE ALWAYS WONDERED WHY HE WOULD NAME SOME PEOPLE AND LEAVE OTHERS NAMELESS. ALL I COULD COME UP WITH WAS THAT THE CIRCUMSTANCE WAS MORE IMPORTANT THAN NAMES/TITLES. GOD DOESN’T PUT US IN CONDITIONS THAT HE WILL NOT BRING US OUT OF. COMING THROUGH THOSE THINGS ALLOWS GOD TO GET ALL THE GLORY IN OUR LIVES. IT SHOWS THAT EVEN YOU AND ME IN ALL OF OUR MESS AND CHAOS, WE CAN STILL BE USED BY GOD. HE WILL USE A IMPERFECT PERSON TO SHOW THE VALIDITY OF HIS BEING AND FOR THE CHANCE TO BRING HOPE TO THE BELIEVER. YOUR PAST SITUATIONS ONLY SHOW HOW FAR YOU HAVE COME!

  • Rebuke & Repel

Happy Thankful Thursday! Say it with me, I LOVE YOU AND THERE’S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!! I believe we just made the devil real mad I pray that you have been blessed by the weekly words of encouragement. Don’t be afraid to send a response. Something you say may encourage your sister in Christ. This week, I want to incentivize (look it up) you all to REBUKE & REPEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (look it up) There is an emotional spill going on in every body of Christ. People have taken on the face of wickedness and anger. These things are causing a spew of discord and destruction in the church world. We see it on tv, in people’s social media post, in demeanors and in dispositions. Things that are making a mockery of God, His people & His church. The worst part is, it’s being done by those of the church!!!!!!! People of the church past and present are tearing the church to shreds because of disgruntled feelings. Those on the front line must REBUKE & REPEL every sign of DISFUNCTION!!!!! Bishop always says the church is a hospital where people come to be healed. But if the broken don’t come to church, or are encouraged ( by those in church) not to come, how can they be healed? We must be careful because God knows all, sees all & hears all is not a cliché. Galatians 6:7-10 (King James Version) 7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. 10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. Galatians 6:7-10 (Easy to Read Version) 7 If you think you can fool God, you are only fooling yourselves. You will harvest what you plant. 8 If you live to satisfy your sinful self, the harvest you will get from that will be eternal death. But if you live to please the Spirit, your harvest from the Spirit will be eternal life. 9 We must not get tired of doing good. We will receive our harvest of eternal life at the right time. We must not give up. 10 When we have the opportunity to do good to anyone, we should do it. But we should give special attention to those who are in the family of believers. This week I added both versions. The version for the feeling you should feel when you read it and the second for understanding Heavenly Father, We know you need the Body of Christ right now, but One that is not under the influence of any ungodly forces of any kind, whatsoever. I pray that You breaks bondages of witchcraft, brainwashing and any other bondages off permanently and may the true prayer warriors and watchmen, which are every member of the Body, stand guard, be watchful and always be prayerful and vigilant of the tricks, schemes, plans and devices of the wicked one and his cohorts, who would love, with everything in them, to find ways to sneakily continue to do the things that they have done to the Body. Make us whole again, Amen

  • Don’t let your emotions affect your assignment!

Blessings WOG Happy Witness Wednesday!!!!!! I have been on a very personal journey and I solicit your most sincere prayers for my victory!!!!!!!! I have been on an emotional roller coaster but I have been convicted by God not to allow my EMOTIONS TO AFFECT MY ASSIGNMENT Ladies, often times we are guilty of acting out of emotions. Don’t worry, I don’t need anyone to admit it, IM TELLING YOU ABOUT YOURSELF FOR FREE. Our emotions will tell us to leave, give up, fight, scream, but No matter what our emotions are telling us, we must remember, we are on assignment for the Lord. Nothing should distract you from completing your assignment which will bring about a blessing. When emotions become destructive, they can make us miserable, ruin our relationships with others, and stunt our spiritual growth. They build a solid wall between us and God, and between us and other people. None of us can achieve spiritual growth without controlling the emotions Colossians 3:23&24 Easy-to-Read Version 23 In all the work you are given, do the best you can. Work as though you are working for the Lord, not any earthly master. 24 Remember that you will receive your reward from the Lord, who will give you what he promised his people. Yes, you are serving Christ. He is your real Master. After gathering myself together last week, & getting back to business (my assignment) I woke this morning to something I’ve been praying for. It read, ALLOWED, ACCEPTED & APPROVED!!!! If we are faithful to the assignment, God will……

Let me know what's on your mind
